Description
The AMP 2010 International Workshop is jointly organised by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) and the French Commissariat ŕ l’Energie Atomique (CEA).
The Workshop is part of the activities of the RILEM Technical Committee (TC 226-CNM) on
'Concrete in the context of the nuclear management', Committee on 'Safety of Nuclear Installations',
NEA/CSNI/IAGE Working Group on 'Integrity ofComponents and Structures', Working Parties on 'Nuclear Corrosion' and the European Federation of Corrosion on 'Corrosion in Concrete'.
The workshop will focus on the following topics:
1) Ageing management of concrete structures
- Development Ageing Management Programs,
- Service Life Prediction,
- Feedback on operational experience from the utilities (lessons learned)
2) NDE methodology developments and validation
- Development of instrumentation and NDE techniques for detecting, measuring and monitoring parameters impacting ageing, to meet operating license requirements of nuclear installations,
- Validation of NDE techniques,
- Validation/scaling up of new developments in NDE techniques (from laboratory to field applications)
3) Interpretation of data
- Interpretation of raw measurement data (reliability, uncertainties, appropriateness), treatment of field measurement data (codes/models)
4) Service life prediction
Integration of model simulation outputs in predicting service life
5) Probabilistic tools
Uncertainty management, time dependency and variability of materials properties
