RILEM TC 247-DTA round robin test: carbonation and chloride penetration testing of alkali-activated concretes
Gregor J. G. Gluth et al.
Materials and Structures volume 53, Article number: 21 (2020)

Can the current standardised durability testing methods, developed for Portland cement-based concretes, be also applicable to alkali-activated materials? Find the answer to this question in this open access paper that presents the work of RILEM TC 247-DTA ‘Durability Testing of Alkali-Activated Materials’. The study is based on round robin testing of carbonation and chloride penetration test methods, applied to five different alkali-activated concretes based on fly ash, blast furnace slag or metakaolin.
