Submission of applications for 2021 RILEM medals is open
 
The Robert L’Hermite Medal is awarded to a young researcher of less than 40 years, who has made an exceptional contribution to science. Up to two Gustavo Colonnetti medals are awarded every year to researchers of less than 35 years, who have made an outstanding scientific contribution to the field of construction materials and structures. Applications should be submitted in electronic form to the RILEM Secretariat General at j.hardy[@]rilem.org no later than 15 December 2020 at 12 pm UTC. The jury will meet in January 2021. NEW RILEM Partner
 
RILEM is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the European Association for Construction Repair, Reinforcement and Protection. ACRP is a non-profit association focused in the activities of repair, reinforcement and protection of all kind of structures and buildings. ACRP is going to start 3 new Working Groups on the topics of Bridge, Maritime Structures and Technologies of the industry. The participation in these groups is open to companies and organizations that have a relationship with the maintenance activity. More info here!

World Statistics Day
 
Where would RILEM be without Statistics? How would RILEM members be able to interpret laboratory results without this precious tool? To acknowledge the importance of this Science, it is almost mandatory to promote the World Statistics Day today, that is celebrated only once every five years!
