The 6^th Historic Mortars Conference (HMC2022) will be held at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 21^st to 23^rd September 2022. The due date for the abstract submission is 15^th November 2021. All HMC2022 conference participants (onsite or online) need to register. Registration is open!

 

 

Recycling… human hair!
 
I bet it is just a matter of time to see the creation of a RILEM Technical Committee to investigate the properties of human hair as a construction material! So far, it has been used in clean-up operations of sea waters after oil spillage. This is a wonderful initiative to collective it rather than throwing it away.
