The report of the 2nd Workshop for Young Researchers in Cement and Concrete Technology (Jornadas de Jóvenes  Investigadores en Tecnología del Cemento y el Hormigón - JJJ TCH 2021) is now available online here! The event was held last month online. It was organised by the Asociación Argentina de Tecnología de Hormigón (AATH), RILEM partner since 2018, with the support of LatRILEM.

RILEM TC 293-CCH virtual workshop
 
The online Workshop on Stress Corrosion Cracking and Hydrogen Embrittlement of Concrete Reinforcing Steels will take place on 15 and 16 November 2021. The Workshop, organised by the RILEM TC 293-CCH, is free of charge but registration is compulsory. More info here!

South African “concrete bible”
 
The 10th edition of Fulton’s Concrete Technology, released in June this year, has been edited by Prof. Mark Alexander, Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering and Senior Research Scholar at the University of Cape Town and former RILEM President. This was one of the first textbooks on concrete ever published in the world, in 1957 (preceding Neville’s concrete technology book). More info available here.
