TEST&E 2022 new dates
 
The Organizing Committee of the 3rd Conference on Testing and Experimentation in Civil Engineering - TEST&E 2022 has decided to postpone the event to June 21-23, 2022. Some adjustments in dates have been made. You can check further details here.

 

 

Chocolate rheology
 
Striking analogy between concrete and chocolate, with sugar and cocoa powders forming the granular skeleton, cocoa butter being the expensive cement matrix and lecithin being the plasticizer. The maximum particle size is imposed by the fact that our tongue is able to detect particles coarser than a few tens of microns and, more than often, it does not enjoy that feeling. More here!
