MMC2
 
The RILEM Multi-scale Modelling Course for Concrete (MMC2) provides the opportunity for participants to become familiar with modelling cementitious materials at four levels of detail: macro-, meso-, micro-, and nano-level. Registration desk is open. More info here!

 

 

Special bricks
 
They must be included in new buildings in some areas of England, with the aim of protecting solitary bees. These special bricks have a series of narrow openings where bees can nest.
