Bryant Mather AWARD
 
Professor Emeritus R. Douglas Hooton, former Chair of RILEM EAC, has recently received the BRYANT MATHER AWARD FROM ASTM COMMITTEE C01. Established in 2001, the award is given by Committee C01 on Cement to recognize efforts of outstanding merit that further the continuing development of standards for hydraulic cements. DuRSAAM 2023
 
The DuRSAAM 2023 Symposium 'Advancing Alkali-Activated Materials' will be held from 8 to 19 February 2023 in Ghent, Belgium. The DuRSAAM2023 Symposium focusses on new developments in all aspects of alkali-activated or geopolymer concrete. The programme targets on bringing stakeholders together along the triple helix academia – industry – government, to foster developments in circular concrete.

 Gordon Research Conference
 
The 2022 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on “ADVANCED MATERIALS FOR SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT – Cement based materials: reaching net zero” is taking place from 31st July to 5th August 2022 in Tuscany, Italy. The event follows the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) “Cutting Edge Solutions for Sustainable Development of Cement and Concrete” in the same location, from 30th to 31st July 2022.
