RILEM is happy to co-sponsor the 1^st International Conference on the Safe, Sustainable, and Swift Reconstruction of Ukraine, taking place in Lviv, Ukraine, on 19-20 March 2026. Call for abstracts will open on 30 May 2025.

 

 

IC-CEIE 2025
 
The RILEM co-sponsored event Sustainability and adaptability to new technologies in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Environment 2025 will take place in Pristina, Kosovo, on 23-25 October 2025. The aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between innovative researchers and industrial experts.

 

 

... RILEM produces scientific knowledge that could serve as a basis for new standards? One recent example of this activity is given by the results produced by RILEM TC 239-MCM which led to two establishments of three ISO standards, namely 16836, 16837, and 16838 in 2019. GCCA Low carbon rating
 
The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), RILEM partner, has developed a low carbon rating system for cement and concrete to support reporting, procurement and comparison of products. This system ensures transparency in low-carbon procurement and supports global efforts toward net-zero emissions by 2050. More info here.
