The event is rich in keynote presentations, pre-conference doctoral courses, social events and technical visits. We look forward to meeting you in Hanoi, Vietnam, by the end of August!

The next ROC&TOK webinar will take place on 7 August 2025, at 3PM Paris Time. The speaker is Prof. Anoop Krishnan, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, presenting “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Cementitious Systems”. 7th fib Congress
 
RILEM is happy to co-sponsor the 7th fib Congress, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, on 15-19 June 2026. Contributions are now accepted under the congress motto “Structural Concrete 2050: Towards Carbon Neutrality, AI Design, and Robotic Construction”. The deadline for abstracts submission is 15 August 2025, hurry up!

... the earliest applications of Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites were in the aerospace and naval industries during World War II? Over the last 50 years, FRP composites have expanded into other industries, including automotive and construction. You can learn more about this topic during the upcoming 2025 Robert L’Hermite medal award lecture at the 79th RILEM Annual Week, on 26 August this year, of Dr Tommaso D’Antino.
