Recommendation of RILEM TC 283-CAM
 
Members of RILEM TC 283-CAM Chloride transport in alkali-activated materials have published a new recommendation: Castel, A., Nguyen, Q.D., Law, D. et al. Recommendation of RILEM TC 283-CAM: performance-based assessment of alkali-activated concrete durability using the 10 V rapid chloride permeability test. Mater Struct 58, 219 (2025). Report of RILEM TC 301-ASR
 
“Lothenbach, B., Krüger, M.E., Ranger, M. et al. Report of RILEM TC 301-ASR: relation between pore solution composition and ASR expansion. Mater Struct 58, 210 (2025)” is the new Open Access paper published by the members of RILEM TC 301-ASR Risk assessment of concrete mixture designs with alkali-silica reactive (ASR) aggregates, investigating ways to determine the risk of alkali-silica reaction (ASR) in concrete.

 
 

Closing letter of TC 282-CCL
 
RILEM TC 282-CCL Calcined Clays as Supplementary Cementitious Materials terminated its activities in 2024. In this Open Access article, published by RILEM Technical Letters, the TC Chair and Deputy Chair highlight the work of the TC members towards a better knowledge and understanding of calcined clay in cement and concrete.

The recently established RILEM TC SDM Scientific Metadata Management of Construction Materials has just released this RILEM Technical Letters Open Access article presenting the TC proposal for a formal approach to metadata collection and management.
