Abstract: The model of lntegrated Life Cycle Design consists of a design process model and of several design methods. This is a big step at development of design process reflecting into roles of design and construction partners especially into tasks of architect, structural designer and designers of building senlice systems. In addition to the traditional methods of construction cost calculations, mechanics of structures and building physics the designers have to know a lot of other methods like life cycle costing, environmental life cycle economy (economy of nature), multiple factors optimisations and multiple requirements decision making, energy eficiency of buildings and durability of structures.
