Abstract: In the present paper the prognosis of lifetime of precast reinforced concrete elements of Estonian agricultural buildings constructed during Soviet time is presented with two methods.
The marks based on external survey are used for quite precise preliminaty prediction. Such prognosis enables us to develop a conception about the perspective of further use of cattle-sheds built upon these structures, which will be necessaty in determining the etficiency of technological investments in these buildings. In order to specify the prognosis of the duration of serviceability of the structures research should be continued in estimating the bearing capacity of structures in different corrosion stages, using both destructive and non-destructive methods.
