Abstract: In the paper the current status and future trends of modern fastening technique are described.
Fastening technique is used in a wide range of the construction industry. By cooperation between industry and research more economical and safe fastening systems have been and will be developed, which work well in cracked and uncracked concrete.
Engineers use special software for the selection of fastening systems and the design of fastenings according to the CC-method. For the installation of anchors technicians are more and more supported by manufacturers with descriptive technical manuals and in some cases with training courses. This will lead to an expanding field of application of modern fastening technique.
