Abstract: The impartial assessment of adhesive activity of blown bitumen containing adhesion agents (AA) can be carried out by determination of bitumen adhesion to mineral base and the loss of binder adhesive properties after heating. Asphalt concrete water-resistance has been studied after the method analogous to the Duriez method.This paper suggests a system to estimate the effect of adhesion agents quality which includes: in-dex of adhesive activity; index of thermal stability; integral index of adhesive activity taking into account the loss of adhesive activity after heating.
