Abstract: The final recommendation of the (sigma-epsilon)-design method, proposed by RILEM TC 162-TDF, is presented in this paper. The (sigma-epsilon)-design method is based on Eurocode 2 and the design parameters in the (sigma-epsilon) relation are determined by means of a displacement controlled bending test on notched prisms.
