Abstract: This contributions present rheometrical exploitation of experimental results conducted on a new simulation device for extrusion operation of clay pastes.
An energy approach of extrusion phenomenon is presented to consider first flow in perfect sliding and then flow with sliding and friction.
A qualitative analysis of extrusion problem has highlighted the influence of die geometry on the dissipated potential by friction, to determinate flow stress of clay pastes and to determinate corresponding friction coefficients.
This study shows too that obtained results with a new device are rheometrically running.
