Abstract:
This paper presented a study on the influence of ultrafine fly ash composite (UFAC) on the compressive strength and durability of concrete, including the resistance to freezing and thawing, impermeability, and diffusion coefficient of chloride ions. The experimental results of this study indicated that the partial replacement of ordinary Portland cement by ultrafine fly ash composite can decrease the early age compressive strength of concrete and the diffusion coefficient of chloride ions of steam-cured concrete, and the steam-cured UFAC concrete had better impermeability and freezing-thawing resistance.
