Abstract:
The paper presents an experimental study, performed in Leipzig/Germany with the aim to investigate the structural behaviour of various post-installed fastening systems in steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC). The carried out experimental programme included tension and shear loading tests of expansion anchors, undercut anchors and bonded anchors in combination with 3 different anchorage grounds. As anchorage grounds were applied two steel fibre reinforced concretes, each of them produced with different kinds of steel fibres and a comparable normal concrete without fibres. The results of the experimental investigations show for all tested anchors that the structural behaviour of fastenings in SFRC is not better than in concrete without fibres. The scattering of the load bearing capacity of the anchors installed in SFRC is even higher, leading to decreasing design values of the resistance in the ultimate limit state.
