Abstract:
This study has experimentally studied the mechanical property and pressure-sensitive property of mortar with nano-SiO2 and nano-Fe2O3. The experimental results showed that the compressive strength measured at the 7th day and 28th day of the cement mortars mixed with nano-particles were higher than that of a plain cement mortar of the same W/b. The pressure-sensitive property of mortar with nano-particles in this study was good and the pressure-sensitive mechanism is established base on the percolation theory and unique electricity property of nano-particles.
