Abstract: The development of self-compacting concrete (SCC) offers many answers to the necessities in the precast concrete construction, creating competitiveness, reducing the time of manufacture and offering good quality in the final product. The self-compacting concrete is starting to be an essential part in the precast sector for the future development of this type of elements. This study compares the bond behavior of the SCC with regard to the traditional concrete used at present. The observed results confirm the viability of use of the self-compacting concretes with respect to its bond behavior for the precast concrete sector in civil construction.
