Abstract: This was the first use of SCC for railway structures in Sweden. Therefore, an investigation program was carried out in the initial stage. The outcome was satisfactory, and it was decided to use SCC in full scale. The tunnel lining was 150 m and it was cast in 16 units, from December 1999 until June 2000. Workability tests and air content was measured for all trucks at the concrete plant and at the working site. Tesst were also performed after pumping for most of the delivered loads. The outcome of the whole project was very good and it resulted in an increased knowledge about the behaviour of SCC during the whole production chain.
