Abstract: Semi-flexible pavement material (SFP) is a new kind of road material, which is consist of open-graded asphalt pavement (OGAP) and cement grout. The excellent characteristic of this material are high carrying capacity, wearing resistance, water stability and durability. However, the tradition SFP has some problems, for example the poor interfacial bonding property, large differences in elastic modules between OGAP and cement grout. Those two problems can affect the fatigue life of semi-flexible pavement material seriously. The infusion cement-emulsified asphalt mortar semi-flexible pavement material (ICEASFP) was obtained by developing cement-emulsified asphalt mortar (CEAM) which could improve the two problems. The results indicated that the best ratio of asphalt and cement was 0.3.In this condition, the adhesion level between OGAP and cement grout reached 5,the elastic modules of mortar decreased by 61.6% and the fatigue life of SFP increased by 46.8%.
