Abstract:
The main scope of this study is to investigate creep behaviour of cracked steel fiber reinforced concrete under uni-axial tensile loading. The test specimens were firstly pre-cracked at 0.05mm before creep test. A pre-cracking device and the creep frame with a lever system were developed and validated. It shows that the notched SFRC specimen could be successfully pre-cracked at 50µm by several loading steps. During the creep test, the time dependent crack opening displacement and the total creep deformation were measured by LVDTs, Basic creep, drying creep and drying shrinkage are also measured to study the different creep components contributing to the total creep deformation.
