Abstract: The Five storied pagoda is built of wood and is known as a high earthquake proof structure. The pagoda is composed of the frame and the center column. We began the response monitoring of national heritage five storied pagoda which is located in Ichikawa City close to Tokyo and constructed in 1622; Hokekyo-ji Pagoda. In the monitoring, image processing system is applied. Using the marker positions, the each story displacements to first story are calculated. The relative displacements were compared with two times acceleration integral displacement using filtering. In Great East Japan Earthquake, the displacements about 75mm and small residual were obtained.
