Abstract: Ultra-high performance fiber reinforced cement composite (UHPFRCC) was prepared and its dynamic behaviour was researched under penetration and explosion. The penetration depth of UHPFRCC was measured on different impact number. The fracture pattern of UHPFRCC targets was observed on penetration. The explosion damage of different UHPFRCC targets and the dimension of explosion crater were measured. Results show that the UHPFRCC resistance to penetration and explosion is improved significantly by hybrid reinforcement. The penetration depth of UHPFRCC was reduced by high strength coarse aggregates. The cracks of UHPFRCC with coarse aggregates are more than those of UHPFRCC without coarse aggregates. The energy absorbing effect of fibers and the bullet deflection effect of coarse aggregates contribute to the ability of UHPFRCC against repeated impact. The hybrid fibers reinforced UHPFRCC has much better ability to resist blast.
