Abstract: In this paper experimental investigation have been carried out to generate the complete stress-strain curve for high strength fiber reinforced concrete using steel and polyolefin fibers under compression. The effect of fiber on some of the major parameters namely peak stress, strain at peak stress and the nature of stress-strain behavior are investigated .Washed bottom ash is used as a replacement for fine aggregate 5% fine aggregate was replaced into washed bottom ash. Cylinders of size 150mmX 300mm were cast by incorporating steel and polyolefin fibers into high strength concrete of grade M60. Steel fibers and polyolefin fibers of volume fraction 0.5%to 2% were considered. Different combination of steel and polyolefin fibers were attempted to arrive at a conclusion for their effect on compressive behavior.
