Abstract: Resilient modulus of subgrade soil is important for overall pavement design process. As per the new mechanistic empirical design method and AASTHO method it is the resilient modulus that is used to characterize the subgrade soil. The present study focuses on understanding the resilient modulus and the effect of stress levels on resilient modulus of CI soil. The field testing program consisted of preparing samples of subgrade soils. The laboratory program included conducting repeated load triaxial Mr Tests as well as physical property tests on the collected samples. It is hoped that this study will help in understanding the effect of stress levels on resilient modulus of CI soils.
