Abstract: The factors of the self-compactability of fresh concrete was summarized in terms of the test results of concrete or the mortar in self-compacting concrete. The factors were summarized into five : the ratio of the corase aggregate content to its solid volume, the grading of the corase aggregate, the pressure transferability of the mortar, and the defromability and viscosity of the mortar.
