Abstract: Through orthogonal design method to design the 9 group coral concrete (CPC), the CPC cube compressive strength (fcu) influenced by the total cementitious material, pre-wetted ratio, sand percentage (Sp), water-binder ratio (W/B), weathered coral and seawater curing were researched. The results showed that: Used unweathered coral of CPC fcu was 9%-15% higher than used weathered coral of CPC fcu. Weathered coral and seawater curing influenced on the CPC 28d fcu was larger than 3d fcu and 7d fcu, the 28d fcu was increased at an average level about 8%. CPC 3d fcu and 7d fcu can reach the 28d fcu respectively of 60% and 70%. The factors influence on the CPC fcu is: pre-wetted ratio>W/B>Sp>total cementitious material.
Therefore, in order to make higher strength grade of CPC, we should further reduce the total W/B, increase the content of the total cementitious material and dosage of cement.
