Abstract: Industrial buildings are often exposed to some kinds of industrial environments, causing problems of durability and safety in reinforced concrete structures, which is the base of safety in production. In this paper, three cases of concrete structure deterioration due to different aggressive environments, including acid/alkali, salt and dry-wet cycle, are investigated. Finally, rationalization proposals for design and maintenance of industrial buildings are offered.
