Abstract: Prefabricated concrete structure has become one of the most widely used structural forms
in our country, however, there are lots of diseases at the normal concrete (NC) wet joints. The
basic reason is that the joint material has bad mechanical properties and poor bond strength
between cast-in-place concrete and the original concrete. Ultra-high performance concrete
(UHPC) has excellent mechanical properties and good bond strength with the original normal
concrete. At present, there is little research on flexural properties of prefabricated concrete
structures with different UHPC joints. In this paper, five groups of common joint structures
were designed, and ABAQUS was used to analyse the mechanical characteristics of the finite
element models with different joint types. The results indicated that the finite element analysis
accorded well with the experimental results. The flexural and tensile properties of the joint
panels with different joints structures were better than the monolithic NC panels, and the
mechanical properties of the model were not affected by the UHPC joints. The joint types of
drilling hole and dense reinforcement could greatly improve the flexural and tensile properties
of the joint panels, wedge joint and diamond joint took the second place, and rectangular joint
had the worst effect.
