Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of gravel content on the fludity, compressive strength, flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of reactive powder concrete with gravel, six groups specimens with different gravel contents were tested . The tests results show that the
fluidity, compressive strength, flexural strength and splitting tensile strength of reactive powder concrete increase with the increasing of the gravel content. Compared with RPC without gravel, the compressive strength , flexural strength and splitting tensile strength increased by 20%, 90% and 65% separately when the gravel content was 35%. It is suggested that the gravel content of 35% is the best amount for RPC mixure.
