Abstract: This paper describes an ongoing theoretical and experimental model assisting and guiding to evaluate the influence of long-term loading on the early age cracking resistance of precast and pre-stressed concrete beams, subjected to static loads. The main objective relates to pre-stressed concrete beams of I and II categories of resistance to early age cracking, not only as the most spread used pre-stressed structural elements, but also like the most convenient models for theoretical and experimental studies, which can allow to widely and reliably reveal their positive effect, and generalize this very effect to more complicated type of pre-stressed structural elements.
