Abstract: In the paper, a new safety concept used for time-dependent reliability assessment of textile strengthened structures is introduced. The new concept bases on the uncertainty model fuzzy randomness and the multi-reference plane model (MRM) [Moe05]. The model fuzzy randomness permits the realistic quantification of uncertain time-dependent material, geometry and loading parameters with the aid of fuzzy random functions. The MRM is used to describe numerically the nonlinear structural behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) structures with textile reinforced strengthening layers. Furthermore, a new method for modeling the uncertain time-dependent behavior of textile reinforced concrete using fractional time derivatives of strain is presented.
