Abstract: Concrete constructions with textile reinforcement provide an opportunity of increasing the load-bearing capacity of existing structures. New textile technologies permit the effective production of textile surface structures with several layers of filament threads made of glass or carbon. Although this new type of reinforcement applied to the strengthening of existing structures is effective, clarification is still required concerning the modified load-bearing behavior and an assessment of structural safety.
This paper is mainly devoted to enhanced computational algorithms to account for the load-bearing reserves of reinforced concrete structures with textile reinforcement under dynamic loading processes.
