Abstract: This paper considers elaborating and transforming the new concepts and methodology for structure analysis developed in the previous studies of the authors into a complete and operational system. The developed methodology will be further applied to actual concrete for pore structure analysis with the purpose of establishing a physics model of concrete durability evolution over time, by means of the pore network model. Different technical parameters (including water cement ratio, cement fineness level, etc) and production conditions (e.g. workability) can be incorporated into this physics model. With the upgraded SPACE simulation system and pore network modelling, the continuous evolution of material microstructure can be simulated and linked up with particular aspects of material behaviour, certainly including durability issues.
