Abstract: Today’s concrete structures call for high-tech construction materials, such as highperformance concrete (HPC). These concretes are defined as concretes with special properties, such as e.g. the self-deaeration of self-compacting concrete (SCC). In this article, the mixing process of SCC is examined in concrete mixers of various types.
