Abstract: Among factors influencing the durability of recycled concrete, rebar corrosion is a primary factor. In this paper, flexural properties of six recycled concrete beams were studied experimentally. Based on the experimental results, the relationship between the bearing capacity of the beams and the degrees of rebar corrosion was presented. The failure pattern, bearing capacity and deflection of the beams were investigated. The results show that the bearing capacity decreases and the deflection increases as the degree of rebar corrosion increases. And some design suggestions for recycled concrete structure under corrosion environment was given.
