Abstract: For cement concrete pavement, the strength of concrete at early ages is one of the most important factors during the construction period. The compressive strength and flexural strength are the most important indicators to the quality evaluation of cement concrete pavement. In this paper, the influences of water/cement(w/c) ratio and recycled concrete(RCA) content on the early compressive strength and flexural strength of recycled aggregates(RCA) were investigated. It is shown that the early compressive strength and flexural strength of RCA decreased with the increase of the w/c ratio and decreasesd as the RCA replacement percentage increases. The ratio of flexural strength to compressive strength, from 0.100 to 0.125, is very close at different ages. In addition, the models of the early strength of RCA were established based on the test results.
