Abstract: At present, with most of the studies on construction waste, the experts which from both China and abroad concentrate on the aspects of physical, mechanical and performance, but rarely focus on the economics and environmental properties, so the large-scale popularization of construction waste recycled is limited. In this article, we analyze the economic and environmental performance of the major components of construction waste which are used in the engineering in Qingdao, and bring up the feasible measures of the construction waste recycled, and provide basis for wider application. Analysis shows that the effective application of construction waste not only can reduce the environmental load but also can get economic benefit, and can speed up the construction of ecological city and buildings, and coincidence with the general direction of energy conservation and the development of sustainable structures.
