59th RILEM Week

The Russian Research, Design and Technological Institute for Concrete and Reinforced Concrete (NIIZhB) is the world known and the country's major specialized organization in the field of construction with wide scientific experience, its own scientific training and more than a 75-year-old history. Founded as an independent scientific center in 1956, NIIZhB is presently the leading institute in construction science.
NIIZhB co-operates with leading scientific and research organizations in many countries of the world, faculties of the country's higher educational institutions, industrial enterprises, a number of international organizations, such as RILEM, fib, ERMCO, IASS, ISO and others.
We are honoured to invite the 59th RILEM Week this year. I have considered our meeting in Moscow as a unique perfect opportunity for RILEM to expand considerably its activity in the former Soviet Union countries.
I hope we shall meet in September in an atmosphere, which always happily distinguished RILEM. Welcome to Moscow.
