C2 Congress: Cement and Green Concrete 2050

This event will promote the strategies and best practices of the cement and concrete industry in the region to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, based on its challenges and opportunities.

The main objectives of the event are:

• Present the global Net Zero 2050 agenda and LATAM's strategy to achieve it.
• Strengthen technical and environmental capacities in LATAM to address carbon neutrality by 2050 considering regional differences, including the entire value chain.
• Align a regional strategy to develop and implement a voluntary carbon market for the cement sector in LAC.
• Provide a space for exchange and interaction among colleagues.
• Encourage a business approach based on sustainability.

The congress organized by FICEM is expected to be attended by the cement and concrete industry, academia, multilateral organizations, standards bodies, builders, designers, suppliers, among others.
