The International Inorganic-Bonded Fiber Composite Conference (IIBCC) is an event held biannually; it consists of a conference and an exhibition. The objective of the IIBCC is to create an open and independent worldwide forum for those active within the field of inorganic-bonded fiber composites – a forum in which we establish and build networks as well as present and discuss technological work and findings. In a nutshell, the IIBCC:
- Presents leading experts to sharing recent developments and findings relevant to inorganic-bonded composites and their production;
- Stimulates contacts between researchers, key decision makers in the manufacturing and marketing of these composites as well as potential customers; and
- Promotes the achievement of:
o knowledge-based manufacturing processes,
o technological and managerial innovation
o optimized use and application of the final products as well as
o participation of young researchers.
The IIBCC provides the perfect opportunity for interaction between people with a common interest in all types of inorganic-bonded products and technologies including fiber-cement, fiber-gypsum, fiber-ceramics, wood cement products (WWCB, CBPB, WRCB), brick and block composites and other related topics. A wide variety of these technologies are extensively manufactured around the world while others are in the concept stage.
