The 4th RILEM Spring Convention, with RILEM Standing Committee and Technical Committee meetings, will be held online, from 6 to 9 April 2021.
On Tuesday 6th of April 2021, a RILEM Strategy Workshop will be held in conjunction with the RILEM Spring Convention, which will take place from 6th to 9th April. Due to current COVID restrictions all around the world, the RILEM Spring Convention formerly planned in Paris, will take place in a fully on-line mode.
The 2021 Strategy Workshop, also a fully on-line event, is a key event to discuss the way forward for RILEM after 75 years of its existence and the challenges that await us in the years to come.
Six strategic themes have been identified (Young Members, Industry, Dissemination, Online Digital Tools, RILEM Values, DAC-Presidency). Each theme will be debated in a dedicated workshop session. The outcomes of the sessions will be considered by the Bureau and the relevant standing committees of RILEM in the strategies and procedures followed.
RILEM workshop will take place from 10AM to 6PM (Paris time, GMT +2) on Tuesday 6th April 2021. After a brief session open to all members, 7 parallel workshops (2 on the Young members item) will run simultaneously for about 3 hours.
If you are a RILEM member and you wish to participate to this workshop, please contact RILEM Secretariat General at j.hardy[@]rilem.org, indicating which of the 6 themes you would like to discuss.
