TC 302-CNC Workshop: The World of Carbon-Based Nanomaterials in Concrete

The workshop will take place following the Eighth International Symposium on Nanotechnology in Construction Materials (NICOM-8; https://www.nicom.global/). Its primary goal is to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the world of carbon-based nanomaterials (CBNs) and their applications in the field of concrete. Participants will gain insights into key topics, including the dispersion of CBNs in cementitious matrices and their impact on fresh properties, the influence of CBNs on the mechanical and durability characteristics of CBN-modified cementitious matrices in Portland cement-based binders, as well as the effects of CBNs on smart properties of cement-based materials. The workshop program will feature informative technical presentations by subject matter experts, interactive discussions, and practical hands-on activities and demonstrations.
