I, as a member of a RILEM TC, will be governed by RILEM Statutes, Bylaws, Statements of Policies and Procedures. I authorise release of any information relating to this registration.
It conforms with article 27 of the law 78/17 of January 6th 1978 and to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27th 2016 that :
- the information requested is for RILEM,
- you have the right to only provide part of the requested information,
- you have the right to obtain a copy of any of the information about you in the association's electronic database and to request the modification or removal of said information.
Each RILEM TC Member has the possibility of downloading the working documents available in the RILEM TC private directories (for the TC in which he is an active member). None of these downloaded working documents should be circulated, duplicated or copied by any means, or published on any web page, journal, proceedings of conferences, etc. Any TC Member is bounded with this mandatory rule. Any publication of RILEM TC working documents is submitted to the rules defined by RILEM. Until official publication by RILEM, such working documents should remain confidential.
A TC member is an expert co-opted by the TC Chairman. RILEM National Delegates, Titular and Industrial Members are entitled to propose names of experts to RILEM Secretary General. These proposals are transmitted to the TC Chairman. In order to increase the scientific input from young researchers, a PhD Student may also be invited by a RILEM TC Chairman to be a TC member. Each RILEM TC member has to actively contribute to the production and discussion of the working documents. The former categories of regular or corresponding members are not used anymore. In general, TC membership should be limited to 20 experts approx.
All members of a RILEM TC should be individual members of RILEM or belong to a corporate member organisation. You may register as TC member now, even if you temporarily do not fulfil the above-mentioned conditions.
