... the upcoming events of all the members of the Liaison Committee (including RILEM, of course!) are presented in a calendar hosted by The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE)? The Liaison Committee of International Associations of Civil Engineering was formed in 1958 and it is a body initiating contact between international associations of civil engineering.

Massive rammed earth project in Johannesburg, South Africa
 
The Thabo Mbeki Presidential Library in Johannesburg, South Africa will be composed of 8 buildings made of rammed earth. The 5,400-square-metre library will host a research centre and a museum.
