Graphene obtained from tyres used as concrete additive
 
Researchers at Rice University in Houston, Texas, have refined a method to obtain turbostatic graphene from rubber tires. They claim this type of graphene is more soluble than the one obtain via exfoliation from graphite and easier to be used in composite materials. More info available here.
