Colonnetti medallist’s paper in RTL
 
The OPEN ACCESS article of Dr Emilio Martínez-Pañeda, 2021 Colonnetti medallist, has been recently published in RILEM Technical Letters (RTL). The paper “Progress and opportunities in modelling environmentally assisted cracking” will be presented at the 75th RILEM Annual Week in Merida in September this year. Have you seen the recently published OPEN ACCESS paper in Materials and Structures (MAAS) titled “Hygrothermal simulation of building performance: data for Scottish masonry materials”, authored by P.F.G. Banfill? It is a comprehensive analysis that categorises historic and contemporary masonry materials into 3 groups. Each group has hygrothermal properties, such as density, porosity, conductivity, permeability, and sorption, within well-defined ranges.
